Μας καρδιοχτύπησε αλλά παρέμεινε επάξια στην Β Λακωνίας ο Καρυάτης. Την τελευταία αγωνιστική του πρωταθλήματος πέτυχε την πιο ουσιώδη αλλά και μεγάλη εκτός έδρας νίκη επί του τρίτου της βαθμολογίας Αμυκλιακού με σκορ 1-3 και κατετάγη ενδέκατος πάνω από την Παλαιοπαναγιά και την Κοκκινόραχη που ηττήθηκαν στα εκτός έδρας παιχνίδια που έδωσαν από Πελλάνα και Μυστρά αντίστοιχα. Πρωταθλητής βγήκε το Ξηροκάμπι και υποβιβάστηκε η Παλαιοπαναγιά και οι Άγιοι Ανάργυροι. Γενικά ήταν επιτυχία η παραμονή της ομάδας στην κατηγορία δεδομένου ότι ήταν νεοφώτιστη και βασίστηκε κυρίως σε παιδιά από το χωριό. Εγώ θα τους δώσω τα συγχαρητήριά μου για την προσπάθεια και θα ευχηθώ του χρόνου πιο ψηλά και θα θυμήσω ότι το αθλητικό ιδεώδες και πνεύμα όταν καλλιεργείται δίνει ζωή, υγεία, δύναμη και χαρίζει μια νότα χαλάρωσης και ξενοιασιάς από τη ρουτίνα και τις δυσκολίες της ζωής για τους νέους του χωριού. Μπράβο Παιδιά που Τιμάται την ΕΡΥΘΡΟΛΕΥΚΗ ΦΑΝΕΛΑ του ΚΑΡΥΑΤΗ!!!!...
We anguished for a while about Karyatis but the team deservedly remains in the B Laconia league. The last match of the tournament has achieved the most essential and great away victory over third placed team Amykliakos with a score 1-3 and Karyatis is ranked eleventh ahead of teams such as Palaiopanagia and Kokkinorachi who failed in their away games played against Pellana and Mystra respectively. The Champion team for the season was Xirokampi while the teams of Palaiopanagia and Saints Anargyroi got relegated.
In general it was a successful season for Karyatis in being able to remain in the group category since they were newcomers in the league and the team players were primarily young people from the village. I give them my congratulations for the effort and hope next year they reach a higher level of achievement, and to remind that the sporting spirit and ideal when properly cultivated gives life, health, power and gives a touch of relaxation and enjoyment to the routine and the difficulties of life to young people of the village.
