Αλλη μία άλλη νέα και όμορφη κατοικία είναι υπό κατασκευή στις Καρυές. Ανήκει στην οικογένια του Βασίλη Νικολάου Κερχουλά και είναι το πρώτο σπίτι που χαιρετά τους επισκέπτες κατά την είσοδό στις Καρυές. Είναι ένα μεγάλο σπίτι, κατασκευάζεται από τοπική πέτρα του Πάρνωνα και περιλαμβάνει πολλά από τα παραδοσιακά αρχιτεκτονικά χαρακτηριστικά τής τοπικής κατασκευαστικής κληρονομιάς. Από την μπροστινή βεράντα βλέπεις άμεσα απόψεις των βουνοκορφών του Πάρνωνα και του Ταίγετου. Είναι υπέροχο να βλέπουμε Καρυάτες που επιστρέφουν στις ρίζες τους και να επιβεβαιώνουν ότι οι Καρυές είναι ένα εξαιρετικό μέρος και για άλλους Καρυάτες να επενδύσουν για την κατασκευή ή την ανακαίνιση των παλαιών σπιτιών της οικογένειας τους για την επιστροφή ή την επίσκεψη τους στις Καρυές ένα από τα πιο όμορφα μέρη και να συνταξιοδοτηθούν ή και να ζήσουν. Ελπίζουμε να ήμαστε σε θέση να δίξουμε περισσότερες φωτογραφίες από αυτό το όμορφο σπίτι, εφόσον ολοκληρωθεί η κατασκευή του.

Another new residence is under construction in Karyes. This belongs to the family of Vasilis Nikou Kelhoulas and is to be the first house that greets visitors when they enter Karyes. It’s a grand house constructed out of local Parnon stone and encompasses a lot of the traditional architectural features of the local construction heritage. From its front veranda you have direct views of both Parnon and Taigetos. It is great to see Karyates returning to their roots and confirming to others that Karyes is a great place to invest and live in. May more Karyates decide to invest to construct in Karyes or refurbish their old family houses for a return or visit to Karyes as it is one of the most beautiful places to retire and or live. We hope to be able to provide more photos of this beautiful house once it is completed.

I do agree with you of people builing houses in he village but unfortunatly people are not building houses they are building palaces which in my opinion do not make the village look any better. I think it would be alot nicer if people built the old style "paradisouika" houses (what a village is all about}
ReplyDeletePeople bulid these huge villas and only two people live in them. I feel the designs are way too moders for a village.
Aso try buy a house in Arahova. The will sell it to the Arahoviti at a higher price than they will sell to some outsider (Athens for eg.} It's too bad. We tryed to buy a house a few years ago and the told us a real crazy price and then went and sold to a outsider for two thirds of what they wanted from us. It sad. We try to build in our village but sometimes the villages just don't want us.
